Prisco on why NFL players drive drunk instead of using the league's free car service: Everybody is on their high horse right now saying ‘What’s the NFL going to do with him?’, but what is life going to do? That can happen to anybody in any walk of life; it can happen to anybody. It’s a horrible thing, and he shouldn’t do it. I’m not going to sit here and say that when I was younger and stupid… I probably got behind the wheel too when I shouldn’t have. But you just shouldn’t do it. It’s dangerous and it shouldn’t happen. You know the NFL is a cross-section of life in a lot of ways, but the difference is when we were 22 or 23 or 24, we didn’t have the money or the ability to go call somebody who could send a car to pick us up and take us back and forth. They do, and that’s the thing about it; Call and get the safe ride. But the problem with that is in their mind they think ‘Ok well if I call and get a safe ride, then its going to get back to the team and they’ll know I was out until 2:30 in the morning’. But so what? Isn’t that better than what Josh Brent is going through right now?
