3 and 5 has never looked more different than it does for the Eagles and Saints. The Saints are trending upward and Philly is in a freefall after getting battered in New Orleans last night. I could lay out what went wrong for the Eagles, but I'm just going to let Andy Reid do it for me: "Pretty easy synopsis: when you're 0-5 in the red zone, have seven sacks and you're tackling is terrible then you're going to struggle to win football games in this league." Or even stay in them.

I'm not sure what was worse, their blocking or their tackling. The Philly D was competing with the Philly O'line to see who could come up smaller. And just as embarrassing was their act in the redzone. Terrible play calling and even worse execution meant just six points in five trips inside the 20. That's not going to get it done. And neither is going 0-4 in goal to go situations. Those types of numbers get cats fired.
I know a lot of the Eagles have Andy Reid's back. Problem is, they're playing like they want to get him whacked. If you really want him back in 2013, someone, anyone... better a make a play... stat.
